Kota Experience

It was just like a day filled with tention and other headaches when I reached this so called place kota.
Students seen with books pouring over day and night
And me one of a kind not used to studying these heavy hours ….
So if you are really into those iitians types kota’s a cool option….
But it doesn’t seem cool once you get there unless your are much devoted with you beloved pcm’s
Yeah so you gotta find a good place to stay on with since there are a lot of guest houses to be given on rent
And unlike me I got a cool landlord ..so it didn’t take long for those 8 months to pass by…
And yeah the food!!!!
Aahaha its just sick
U just gota compromise unless you’ve been used to it
They use a hell lot of oil..it seemed at first that oil seems to be coming free from sum where
…damn…one will just run away if he’s not used to living in that desert sort of summers…and especially getting up in the mornings for your classes
so I had a pretty cool life there unless you take intro account those gruesome days
it was just terrific ..the tution base of India……………and yes we did have some really cool teachers to support us all the way round the year…..taking into account the classes cant be made those strict one’s unless you don’t want the guys to run away…from there…
we had one damn cool teacher (DJ sir) ,full of inspirations, laughter a thorough well rounded person..
His dialougues ….(“tum samj toh rahe ho “ “tumhe bura toh nahin laga”)
So it was like a refreshing moment for all of us,and usually when we would all take those hilarious jokes in types of double meanings until one took and understood them with their so called actual meanings …and we could’nt expect more of this when one is preparing for exams like IIT and stuffs but u need such breaks else I think the we would have broken off by now…

Our next teacher was AJ sir …and he was our physics hope till we were there…his experiences and all other aspects he would share with us …and his favourite dialogues….”samjh raha hai ki nahin “ samajh mein toh aa nahin raha hoga bas koi movie chal rahi hai aankhon ke saamne…hahahha”
So when he would enter for his lecture he would of course say a few words especially bringing in the scenario of the day when we would be giving the papers and suppose we didn’t fare well the situation which would be there for those students whose parents have their expectations from them only for one and only exam IIT…so it was a backflash for all of us ..from him…and days passed by and we struggled the hell out there ….but it was and overall a nice experience which one and especially I got from there…Although it was disheartening to see students who were not well aware with career options today wasting precious years and slogging to clear these strenuous examinations day
& night…buts its hard work that pays …so its upto students themselves what they take up to do coz after all its your future and you have to master its destiny to nowhere or somewhere …..so that’s all I can say if you’ve had some kind of similar experiences like me of somewhere then do mail me and share your experiences too…………

Last moments of school life....

The last moments of our schools life especially the year 2002-2003 the year of our boards and we had to depart from all our batchmates . After all we had this joy of getting out of this jail type school as we had started to describe it in this way and we just wanted to break free as soon as possible..
We entered for our final 30-35 days slot meant for us to give our exams in our own school centre in the month of February .. Preparations were over and we had to give out exams finally . Days passed and with that our exams too..finally our last exam was indeed our hindi and we knew it that it had to go off well if not excellent
So things went off well….and we came out ready to get out off mussoorie; finally and yes with us our memories some of them left behind and some going along with us throughout our lives…
After all it was wynberg-allen which taught us all our specific values in life though we liked it or not but today when I am out I can easily differentiate myself with the outerworld as to what type of education and moral values I have received and then I realize that it was altogether an exc ellent experience to be there and gather these wonderful qualities and build our lives a better to place to live in…….

Senior School Trauma

It was now our turn to enter the senior school and after all as our teachers said entering the big shots group.....
Though our class seven experiences were not good coz we had to face those awful fatigues ..and as the word signifies it really means to get fatigued out …and those surdy seniors of ours really dumb ones…but after them we really didn’t have ones to command the school anymore so it was a pretty good time after them..
Here we had some strict teachers and why shouldn’t we as we had entered into the bigger zone we had to be controlled else they would have to bear the brunts for our doings.
Here we had our house parties and some cool sports to get life going with ..Butttttttt our damn horrific morning runs just toooo much to handle ..it was just sick to get up in those chilly mornings whether raining hailing or for that matter even if the heavens would come down we had to go for the runs under all conditions and the benefit :to keep us fit at all times …though I really didn’t find them useful at that time but now I know their use at this point of time when I am just fit at all times..
And after all if we didn’t wanted to go for these runs and we wanted to avoid them, then the hospital couldn’t be a better excuse than that. But as out sports trainer Mr. Champa he would reach up there too and get us out of our beds unless we were tooo ill for that .
Some of my own deeds were blocking the whole computer terminal of my school labs.Indeed not hacking but It was just an experiment for which my headmaster got to know me even better as we always stayed away from him at times. So nothing like it trying to bunking those wonderful history and geography classes but we had to get caught since we didn’t have a different place to run to other than the terraces which of course out of bounds for us .
Not to mention the fairs we had during the starting day of our summer holidays . It was pretty fun to get together socialize and have a blast…Quizzes and debates just out of my reach..never ever did I participate in a debate but I did so I a quiz coz we didn’t have to struggle for that we could have our answer straight away . At our times we had really good debaters who won some cups for our school…and sports was just awesome…though I didn’t participate much but whatever I did I did it pretty fine and our batchmates we just too good atheletes . we had a line of prizes lined up before for our respective houses at the end of the sports meet..
Exams too were an integral part of our wonderful and torcheress boarding life…we had three terms and English was like do or die to get through this icse syllabus just too hectic to handle. But we managed with some pretty good grades at the end of our whole school life….

Life @ Junior School Wynberg Allen

Now as time passed we got used to all the activities going on in boarding life..
Friends !!! yeah we of course had some ridiculous friends all the moment…
If I set myself back to search for some of those moments then I remember we had this guy who used to you know bring some
paranthas from the dining hall to hog at nite but the fortunate thing was that he used to apply some beautiful colours in the form of toothpastes and have them wacky enough at that time it was just too piggy to handle this stuffs going on but …he wasn’t with us for a long time else I would have some more stories to tell about him. And how can I forget this guy vineet patel khopdi mein teel as we use to call ….he use to eat the day long and of course at night empty out his belly right in his trousers…and what the hell we had to deal with such cases for a long time until he wasn’t with us ..but he was a character after all .
So as you know things keep happening in this wonderful and awful boarding life all throughout .
But it used to be great fun after all indulging in those mischevious acts and round abouts at the junior school.
Then coming to the dining hall…especially during meals when I used to not eat those dreaded veggies and then the prefects would get hold of us and make us have them…those moments were just too pathetic ..and our days when we were prefects too were quite good we too had our bit and demanded as we wanted and dealt with cases as we had been dealt with ..after all we too were in that place years back…..so We had some cool teachers like Ma’m Madhu, Ma’m Wilson and others though I’m not getting everyones names on my lips at the moment right now but each one of them contributed to some part of our well being during those 6 years of splendid life at junior school.

Year 1993

My first days at wynberg allen school mussoorie..I had come to here to give my entrance exams in the midst of October..and my dad had drove has to this splendour hill station. The tests went off well and my parents were awaiting the results..At last ir reached them and I had qualified to gain entry into this school..
Everyone was overjoyed and sad too coz I was leaving home now and entering a world so soon which I had to handle on my own. It was first day at school and I entered with full joy and excitement. On entering I was first given a badge stating what type of meals I would like to have ..and without giving it second thought I chose non-veg coz I knew I couldn’t do without it ,and there I was let into a big and beautiful dining hall filled with students like me and older than me. Some were newer ones like I was and the older ones knew there ways out..So I sat there with tears in my eyes for some moment remembering my own room where I would be having ,my dinner at my pleasure. Then I would everytime look at the time and this would remind me as to what I would be doing at that moment way back home.
So it was you know a different experience altogether , an atmosphere full of different and new things to explore and although it seemed some sought of alien land to me I got adjusted in no time at this boarding school..
The very next morning we had our maids dress us up and off to the assembly hall(although I didn’t know what this place was called but I came to know later we too had a separate dedicated place for our prayers at school).
Next we were led into out classrooms and there we had our teacher and I remember her name Miss Janet. She was a sweet person nothing sort of those teacher qualities which I thought she would possess. She introduced to us the very basics to us as to what to do and what not..The very first words we learnt was as to how to ask and answer the nature’s call if we wanted and in our language it was called (No.1 and No.2)at first it seemed awkward to me but later I got used to it and it was a pretty decent way to ask out ourselves out. So that’s how life continued and of course I am not gonna discuss things in detail especially the dormitory details …I hope you understand.
So years passed I we grew up amongst these hills and those chilly winters..but we usually had holidays during november. So we didn’t get to face the snowfall too often. It was pleasure after all to be amongst the wonderful climate there.
